Four deeper guides

Use the framework Audit a shared linkCatch changed items, duplicate routes, missing variants, and stale notes.
Check a link Read QC photosSeparate what an image shows from what still needs confirmation.
Read the evidenceRead until you know what to do next
More information is not always more helpful. Stop reading when you know which tabs to open, which facts to record, what is still uncertain, and when an item should leave the shortlist. The guides here keep comparison groups small and make the limits of photos, prices, and links explicit.
Find the right product family
Use a broad list only long enough to learn the available categories and the terms used on live product pages.
Apply one standard to similar items
Compare measurements, construction, photos, source details, and weight within the same category.
Return to the live destination
Confirm that the current product, variant, price context, and source still match the saved note.
Keep, pause, or remove
Do not leave a weak row in limbo. Record the reason for the next action.
Build a small research path
Start with the main field guide if spreadsheet rows are new to you. For a new category, use the category guide and the seven-point checklist. Add the shipping-weight guide before comparing value, then use the four articles above when the method, service role, link, or images become unclear.
When you already know the category and the missing detail, a focused external search can be more useful than browsing another mixed sheet.
Findsindex opens in a new tab. Check every live destination independently.
